Employees of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department honoured in Dubai Government Excellence Program
The Dubai Government Excellence Program honoured, on Monday, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department's winning employees of the 20th edition of the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP).
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, Dr. Ahmed Al Nusairat, Coordinator General of DGEP, Mr. Hazza Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Senior Manager of Excellence Initiatives at DGEP and a number of directors and officials from the Department and the Program.
Dr. Belhoul re-affirmed that workplace excellence has become a strategic approach in government work since it contributed to creating a competitive environment between the Government of Dubai's institutions, entities and departments and between their employees. He added that the Department's participation in the Dubai Government Excellence Program played a pivotal role in the development of the Department's systems, mechanisms and methodologies and, the improvement of the institutional and vocational performance of all its employees.
Dr. Belhoul hailed this recognition as an incentive for all employees of the Department to seek to develop themselves and give their best in the performance of their job. He added that the Department is keen to provide all manner of support to its employees and provide an encouraging work environment that allows its employees to excel in their field of work.
As he was presenting the Department's winning employees with appreciation certificates, Dr. Ahmad Al Nusairat praised the Department’s impressive results in the DGEP where, two of its employees scooped first and second place in the DGEP Accolade for “Distinguished New Employee” and in the DGEP Accolade for "Best Supervisory Employee" respectively. Particularly impressive, this being the Department’s first participation in the fourth generation program.
