In cooperation with the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP), the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department hosted at its headquarters in H.H. the Ruler's Court, a workshop covering the immediate implementation of the Fourth Generation of the Government Excellence System for the Government of Dubai.

The workshop introduced the employees to the detailed aspects of the Fourth Generation System to be immediately implemented by government entities in the emirate of Dubai in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai. The workshop was attended by Mr. Hazza Khalfan Nuaimi, Mr. Usama Hammad of DGEP and heads of directorates and sections of the Department. 

The DGEP team introduced the employees to the goals and mechanisms of the immediate implementation of the Fourth Generation System, which aims to achieve harmony and integrity in government performance based on innovative standards. It focuses on various aspects of excellence including the assessment of the entities' capabilities and outcomes that can be achieved to bring happiness and satisfaction to the public, meet the needs and expectations of clients and provide them with government services in accordance with the best international standards and the highest levels of quality and efficiency.

The Fourth Generation of the Government Excellence System, which is a road map for entities to guide them towards the implementation of the Dubai Plan 2021, will attach greater importance to outcomes, smart services, forward-looking innovation, efficiency and governance throughout  government work, while having regard to the exceptional nature of government work.  Additionally, the Fourth Generation of Excellence hones in on the  accomplishment of  government entities  goals through the delivery of their mandates with a strong focus on services and smart transformation of various practices.
