Legal Affairs Department Qualifies (31) Employees as “Accredited EFQM Assessors and QMS Auditors”

As part of its sustained efforts to promote a culture of excellence and quality, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department conducted two training sessions "EFQM Approved Internal Assessor" and "Internal Audit in line with ISO 9001:2015". The employees who attended the sessions were divided into two groups representing various grades and  organisational units of the Department.

The five-day sessions were intended to provide employees with the resources and tools to promote the sustained application of quality standards and concepts of organisational excellence. The sessions also aimed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills required in the process of assessment and at incorporating these concepts in the work place.

During the award ceremony, His Excellency Dr Lowai Belhoul, Director General of the Department, highlighted the importance of such courses which indicate the Department's endeavor to promote its human resources and achieve excellence. Dr Lowai stated that the Department, in cooperation with Hindawi Excellence Group, qualified 31 of its employees to obtain certificates of "QMS Internal Auditors in line with international standards, and EFQM assessor internal. 

In closing, certificates of appreciation were presented to 11 EFQM approved internal assessors, and to 20 internal auditors approved according to ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The ceremony also saw the recognition of Hindawi Excellence Group as a leading supplier to the Department.
