The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department organised the Annual Awards Ceremony in acknowledgment of efforts of its employees to enhance performance and motivate them for more achievements and excellence.

In his welcome speech, HE Dr. Lowai Belhoul, Director General of the Department, emphasised that honouring employees aims to stimulate competition among them, noting that the human capital is key to achieving significant development and boosting performance in line with the Department's vision, values and mission to achieve excellence in legal work.

His Excellency also extended his gratitude for remarkable achievements in all services and stressed that this recognition would contribute to encouraging and enhancing creative innovation and inspiring employees to develop positive ideas conducive to achieving the aspired goals, improving the work process and increasing productivity.

Dr. Lowai further explained that the Department spares no effort to pursue development through participation in excellence programmes such as the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP). His Excellency reiterated that the Department attaches great importance to creativity and excellence and always seeks to create a positive work environment. He added that the Department would soon see remarkable development through many procedures intended to optimise legal work, which will focus on streamlining and smart transformation of processes and services, as well as planning and managing stakeholders' relations and community initiatives.

At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency called on all employees to work as a team, realise more achievements and innovations and fulfil the purposes and objectives of the Department.

On their part, the employees of the Department expressed their happiness with this recognition, which reflects consideration of the Department to reward its distinguished employees. They also assured the management that they would continue their efforts to achieve excellence and provide outstanding services to customers in line with the best world practices.
