Legal Affairs Department to Exhibit Smart Services Meeting Clients' Needs in GITEX

The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department will participate in GITEX Technology Exhibition 2015 to showcase its latest initiatives and services through the Dubai Smart Government platform.

By participating in this five-day exhibition, scheduled to commence on the 18th of this month at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the Department seeks to familiarise visitors and clients with its latest smart services and initiatives. All of this progress has been inspired by the insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and is aimed at achieving client and customer satisfaction through the use of smart applications and services that meet their needs.

His Excellency Dr Lowai   Belhoul, Director General of the Legal Affairs Department emphasised that the Department is keen to transform all of its transactions into smart transactions, as part of their strategy focused on achieving excellence and enhancing the level of services provided to the public. He further noted that the Department’s initiatives in this regard would save time and effort (or costs??) in processing transactions, providing efficient and innovative government legal services in line with global best practice.

Dr Belhoul added that GITEX, being one of the biggest and most well-known technology exhibitions globally, is of paramount importance for reaching the Department’s clients and making them aware of the latest smart services and systems provided by the Department. His Excellency pointed out that the Department spared no effort to develop its software, e-services and smart services, introduce modern technologies and keep abreast with the most up-to-date developments in technology and applications in all areas of their work.

This is the third time that the Legal Affairs Department participates in GITEX and Dr Belhoul highlighted that the Department's participation for this year reflects the Department's commitment to facilitate the use of its services through modern technologies, as it is launching a variety of smart services for the first time, which include:
