Statement by His Excellency Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department on the Anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid’s Accession as Ruler of Dubai

His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohammed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, stated that the fourth of January will remain a milestone in the history of the Emirate of Dubai. Nineteen years ago, this day inaugurated a new beginning in the process of the cultural rebirth in the emirate thanks to the inspiring vision allowing the UAE to take the lead in various sectors.

His Excellency Dr. Belhoul continued "this journey, which was inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, “may God protect him," presents to all the peoples and governments of the world a unique model of wise leadership, strong resolve to build nations. This journey was the trigger point for excellence and leadership in various sectors, making Dubai a role model and a global hub for development, excellence, leadership, and shaping the future.

His Excellency Dr. Belhoul pointed out that dedicating the anniversary of the accession day to the Mother of the Sheikhs, Her Highness Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum, is another inspiring lesson offered by His Highness to generations in praising women and hailing their role in the Emirati society. The woman is the foundation of the family, the generous supporter throughout the journey of building the nation, a source of constant strength, a partner in life and a shining beacon for ambitions and achievements. This dedication also stands as a generous celebration by His Highness of the long journey of benevolence led by Her Highness Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum who has launched and sponsored many humanitarian initiatives and projects that promote the noble values of compassion and humanity in the UAE.
