Legal Affairs Department showcases AI-Powered Digital Services in GITEX Global 2024

The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department participates, under the unified Dubai Government Pavilion in GITEX Global 2024 exhibition, held from October 14 to 18, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, to showcase its latest digital services which enhance its continuous endeavor to provide innovative Government legal services.

New Projects

The Department's participation, which comes in line with the “Services 360" policy of Dubai,  aims to introduce the updated Case Management System (Tawtheeq), an AI-enhanced system for managing and archiving all requests received by the Department, and for managing internal work tasks across the organizational units. The platform of the Department features its project for technological infrastructure development that gives additional impetus to operational efficiency, while assuring maximum data security.

The Department also brings to this exhibition the new design of its application on smart phones, which coincides the launch of the Department's new corporate identity. The Department highlighted the newly added advanced technical features, supported with interactive artificial intelligence, through the smart assistant that enables the browser to immediately answer inquiries anytime, which improved customer's journey while using the Department services.

Innovative Solutions

In this regard, His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohammed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, indicated that the Department is keen to participate in this global event, which reflects its commitment to keeping pace with the rapid technical development in providing its legal services and managing its data. His Excellency affirmed that adopting AI-empowered innovative solutions help reach new horizons of efficiency and excellence in government and professional legal work, while fully complying with information security standards in accordance with the advanced security rules and procedures in its digital infrastructure, in line with the directives of the Government of Dubai.

His Excellency Dr. Belhoul explained that such technological forums offer a valuable opportunity for the Department to make use of the latest technologies and practices in performing its role in the governmental and professional legal sectors, as part of its continuous efforts to keep pace with the accelerating technological developments in line with its vision of streamlining, developing and improving its services.
