The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department Organises a Religious Lecture for Its Employees

The Dubai of Government Legal Affairs Department organized a religious lecture for its employees and employees of the departments attached to H.H. The Ruler's Court on “The Values and Ethics of Public Service".  The lecture, which was presented online by His Eminence Shaykh Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Shehhi, preacher at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, aimed at fostering a religious culture at the workplace.

Dr. Al-Shehhi affirmed that public service entails a religious and moral responsibility, linked to the essence and values of Islam, which calls upon us to be honest, sincere, and live up to the obligations of the employee in the service of his community and country in the responsibilities and duties he undertakes. Dr. Al-Shehhi added that violating any of the values of work contradicts the principles that Islam calls us to adhere to, especially when it is related to the rights of others.

The lecture highlighted that commitment to job values is not only an essential pillar in achieving a positive and happy workplace marked by high productivity and satisfaction but is also conceived as a means by which the servant draws closer to Allah. This is because the goals of worship are inseparable from achieving worldly and otherworldly benefits and the well-being of the individual and society.

His Eminence Shaykh Dr. Al Shehhi concluded his lecture by answering employees' questions.
