The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department Launches the “Dubai Government Unified Legal Services Portal”

​The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department has launched the Dubai Government Unified Legal Services Portal, which is an online platform that allows its users, the representatives of government entities, to attain any of the legal services provided by the Department by registering their applications through the Portal.
His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, affirmed that this project comes in line with the strategy of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, which seeks to transfer all applicable government transactions to digital platforms by end of 2021.


As part of the Department's efforts to shift all its legal services to Smart Services, all service-related documents will be submitted directly through the Portal, and government entities can therefore track the status of their applications at any time. These newly developed Smart Services will undoubtedly improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the services and will save time and effort.

 
His Excellency Dr. Belhoul added that this initiative echoes the development plans for government work and the endeavors to enhance the corporate performance that serves the indicators of the Smart and e-Government Strategy. It also meets the aspirations of the Department's clients from various government entities, with a view to achieving the strategic objectives adopted by the Government of Dubai in providing its services.
In the same vein, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department of has held a series of training courses for the users of the Portal from employees of all Government Entities in the Emirate of Dubai.  
These training courses addressed how the submission of applications to obtain services by logging in with the username of each entity, and how to upload the documents that may be required to avail of any service, and how to track applications on the Portal.
During training, all trainees' inquiries were answered, while noting their feedback in order to ensure continuous development of the Portal.
