MoU regarding “Legal Professional Diploma” signed between Legal Affairs Department and DGHR Department

The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department has signed, in the Department's premises at H.H. Ruler's Court, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR Department) as part of cooperation in implementing the "Legal Professional Diploma" initiative to qualify legal staff working in the Government of Dubai. The initiative, launched by the Legal Affairs Department, aims to enhance the capabilities of government employees working in the legal sector in the Emirate.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, and His Excellency Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR Department. The MoU sets out a general framework which will form the basis for cooperation between the two parties.

Dr. Belhoul affirmed that the MoU sits within the framework of the Department's tasks and duties to qualify and train legal staff through training programmes in all legal disciplines, which allows government entities to benefit from their legal staff at every level, and enables entities to best exercise their functions in accordance with their applicable legislation.

His Excellency Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi stated that DGHR is committed to developing strategic partnerships with various government entities and departments to improve the government sector's performance, and to optimise employees through meeting training demands, and exchanging institutional experiences and knowledge in a manner that serves the strategic goals of the Government of Dubai.
