Speech of His Excellency the Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department regarding the “January 4 Charter 2020”

His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohamad Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs, highlighted that the January 4 Charter 2020 introduced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, marked the start of 2020.  Indeed, it is a roadmap that charts out a new course for the future of the Emirate of Dubai, thanks to which the Emirate will  keep up with the fast-paced changes and challenges imposed by global competitiveness. The Charter also reflects the determination of the visionary leadership  to press ahead with the development of the UAE through coherent work processes.

Dr. Belhoul pointed out that the vision of our astute  leadership, which is conducive to accomplishing further excellence and pioneering in governmental work, stems from its unfaltering  desire to provide a better life for all nationals, residents and visitors of the Emirate, through achieving the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all Government provided services..

In conclusion, His Excellency added that the Charter's six pillars including the affiliation of government entities according to their role and functions, is clear evidence that government work is well planned, highly organised and oriented towards reaching the Holistic Development Targets aiming to make Dubai the best city in the world.
