Dubai Police signs MoC with Legal Affairs Department to provide the Department’s Employees with the “ESAAD” Card

Dubai Police GHQ and the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department have signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) to allow the issuance of the "ESAAD" Card to all the Department's employees. The card, issued by Dubai Police, offers various benefits and discounts in both the public and private sectors.

The MoC was signed by Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Murr, Director of the Dubai Police Human Rights, Mr. Salah Jassim Bin Kalban, Senior Legal Counsel and Director of Government Disputes & Claims Directorate, in the presence of Ms. Muna Mohammed al-Ameri, Chairperson of the Dubai Police "ESAAD" Card Committee, Mr. Yahya Ali, Warrant Officer No.1 and member of the Dubai Police "ESAAD" Card Committee, Ms. Al Reem Al Falassi, Acting Head of Support Services Directorate and, a number of other attendees.

Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Murr said that this constructive cooperation with the Legal Affairs Department and with other federal and local entities and departments, comes following the directive orders  of H.E. Major General Abdullah Khalifa al-Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to cement partnerships with local and federal entities and departments that ensure an optimal environment for the happiness for their employees.

Mr. Salah Jassim Bin Kalban expressed gratitude to Dubai Police GHQ for allowing the Department's employees to join this excellent programme, stressing the importance of signing this MoC, which will strengthen cooperation and nurture a strategic partnership between the two entities culminating in promoting a positive work environment and providing employees with services that contribute to their happiness with a corresponding positive impact on their productivity.

The signing of the MoC reflects the desire of both sides to consolidate their collaboration, exchange experiences and develop initiatives and common programmes based on mutual benefits, interests and goals that will serve the development process.

This MoC allows all employees of the Legal Affairs Department to join the Dubai Police's "ESAAD" Program. Dubai Police will provide employees with the card allowing them to avail the same benefits and offers from companies provided to Dubai Police employees.

The MoC also aims to strengthen the role of constructive partnership through launching creative community-based initiatives and projects between the parties. By virtue of this MoC, Dubai Police will share their policing knowledge and provide the Legal Affairs Department with leaflets, posters and manuals which support the achievement of their objectives.

The MoC also stipulates that the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department will help Dubai Police to participate in special events and exhibitions and support their various awareness programmes, campaigns and initiatives.
