Words from His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Department on the occasion of the Martyr’s Day

His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department affirmed that "the Martyr's Day",

which His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, ordered to be a national occasion observed  annually on 30 November,

constitutes a critical milestone in the history of the United Arab Emirates, as  the sacrifices of our brave martyrs who devoted their lives and offered their precious blood to keep the nation's flag flying at home and abroad,

are preserved in immortal memory.

Dr. Belhoul added that the Martyr's Day is an historic event of great significance reflecting the United Arab Emirates' heroic attitudes towards her brotherly nations in the service of the Islamic Ummah,

to establish justice and equity, to prevent injustice, to save the oppressed and, to achieve peace for all mankind.

Dr. Belhoul expressed his pride in the compassion of the UAE visionary leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highneses, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates,

in alleviating the suffering  and providing sustenance for  Emirati martyrs families.

His Excellency also added that he takes pride in the martyrs of the Nation and their families who manifested an unequalled paragon of sacrifice and allegiance to the Nation and its leadership.

With their blood, they wrote immortal examples of glory and heroism for the sake of peace, and for the Flag of the Nation to be always raised high. Our nation will forever be an impregnable fortress thanks to their devoted sacrifices.

We pray to Allah Almighty to rest their souls in peace and grant their families and loved ones' patience and solace.
