The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department launches the Updated Version of the Innovation Holistic System

​As part of its continued efforts to create a workplace conducive to innovation and creativity and, its continued drive   towards achieving excellence and pioneering, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department launched the updated version of the Innovation Holistic System, one year after its original implementation.

His Excellency Dr Lowai Belhoul, Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department stated that the launch of the updated version of the Innovation Holistic System is another important step forward in the Department's journey towards achieving excellence and pioneering in government legal work. The System will also contribute to providing creative and innovative government legal services matching international standards, consistent with the aspirations of the insightful leadership and the Department's belief in continuous improvement as one of the Department's institutional values. Dr. Belhoul pointed out that the updated System came one year after its original implementation and was adapted after practice testing.

The event included a presentation by Mr. Hussein Al Faradan about the "Corporate Innovation System at Dubai Customs". During the presentation, Mr. Al Faradan gave a comprehensive review of the Dubai Customs' leading experience in the field of innovation through the development of a system of suggestions and ideas management and, creating a culture and work environment that promotes creativity and innovation. Al Fardan added that Dubai Customs is among the top ranking entities thanks to an integrated innovation system involving all levels of employees of Dubai Customs.

Dr. Belhoul said that the updates made to the System focused on enhancing its mechanisms and policies in order to raise the quality of ideas and proposals from traditional ideas to the level of actual innovation, by motivating employees from all categories to channel their ideas towards the major development of operations and services. This will be accompanied by an effective system of motivation and an accurate visual performance monitoring system which will allow employees to anticipate challenges and propose innovative solutions to them in order to ensure major development. The employees, customers and all those concerned with the services provided by the Department will be able to participate in the development of services in an innovative manner and in accordance with their expectations and achieve their happiness.

At the end of the event, His Excellency Dr Lowai Belhoul presented Mr. Hussein Al Faradan with a plaque   from the Department in recognition of his efforts to enrich the Department's employees knowledge in the field of innovation.
