As part of its efforts aimed at implementing the directives of the Government of Dubai to establish the status of Dubai as a frontrunner among the world's future cities, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, in cooperation with the European Center (ADR), held a brainstorming session to explore the requirements for shaping the future in legal work, and the skills it requires to keep pace with transformations and changes in this vital sector.

The session, which was attended by several directors and legal consultants from the Department, discussed the transformations currently happening and the requirements for shaping the future for legal jobs, and their impact on work procedures and skills required, in order to ensure the institution's readiness for the future and maintain its flexibility to cope with these transformations.

The attendees discussed the job skills that enable the Department's employees to prepare for the future and adapt all that is needed to meet the expectations and aspirations of recipients of legal services through innovation and training using state-of-the-art technologies, and developing flexible proactive scenarios that are based on scientific studies to build the capabilities that would allow the Department to cope with challenges in legal work.
